Junior Achievement of the Heartland - ResourcesUnite!

0

Junior Achievement fosters the future success and economic health of young people and the communities in which they live. We do this by providing hands-on elementary and secondary programs focused on work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Through these programs and the support of businesses and individuals, JA reinforces the relevancy of schools’ curriculum and empowers young people to own their economic success.

Volunteer Need 1
Volunteer in your local school to reinforce important life skills that help students prepare for success in the real world. The volunteer activity takes place in a classroom setting and consists of 5-7 weekly visits for one-hour per week. Junior Achievement matches volunteers with local classrooms and provides the training and materials needed for a fun and engaging learning experience.
Volunteer Need 2
Volunteers are needed to help at our fundraising events. Activities may include pre-event and post-event set up and take down; checking in participants; selling raffle tickets; and assisting guests at the event. The time commitment will vary based on the event, but is limited to a one-day volunteer experience.
